Awesome Frameworks is a procedural generator of fake software project websites.

I made it partly as an experiment in random content generation, and partly to poke fun at the huge number of unnecessary software frameworks programmers have to sort through nowadays.

How it works

Each of the sites is assembled on-the-fly when you visit, using the project name as a random seed.

Text is generated using templates and random word substitution, ala MadLibs. For an animated example of something similar, check out phrasegenerator.com.

Under the hood

Built with Flask and a little jQuery. No other frameworks or libraries were harmed during construction.
